Fuel farms.
Hydrant systems.
Assets that last.
SBR Consultancy Group delivers specialist engineering, testing & commissioning, and lifecycle asset management for airport fuel infrastructure — led by a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with 30+ years across the Middle East, UK and beyond.
Chartered engineering,
built for airside conditions.
SBR Consultancy Group is a specialist engineering practice focused on the systems that keep airports fuelled and running: Jet A1 storage and hydrant networks, fire and firefighting water systems, and the wider utilities that surround them.
The practice is led by a Chartered Mechanical Engineer (CEng MIMechE) with more than three decades of hands-on and director-level experience across Qatar, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the UK — including the design, construction, testing and asset management of fuel systems at some of the busiest airports in the world.
We work directly with airport operators, EPCM contractors and government aviation authorities — providing the technical judgement to specify, review, commission and maintain infrastructure that cannot afford downtime.
What we deliver
Fuel Farm & Hydrant Design
Jet A1 storage tank design, hydrant pipeline networks up to 36" diameter, leak detection systems, and associated firefighting and process piping.
Asset Management
Asset verification and tagging, condition assessment, and development of prioritized capital investment programmes for airport fuel and utility infrastructure.
Testing & Commissioning
Pre-commissioning, pressure and functional testing, pipeline and hydrant flushing, and full commissioning of Jet A1 fuel farms and pipeline networks.
Technical & Design Management
Multi-discipline design review for airports and fuel systems — drawings, specifications, data sheets, design calculations, BIM and shop drawing coordination.
Contract & Procurement
Contract management for EPCM, CM and workmanship-only contracts, including claims and delay analysis, plus procurement advisory for fuel and hydrant components.
Airport Infrastructure
Design and review of taxiways, runways, aircraft stands and related utilities — AGL, VGDS, power, comms, security, water, sewage and pumping stations.
